Muslims are made up of approximately 2.2 billion people around the globe. I would hardly call that a minority religion. I would agree that only a minority amount of Muslims are vested in terror organizations and in the actual carrying out of terrorist acts. However, to suggest that there is some simple way or any way to effectively penetrate into the inner workings of this ancient and multi leveled religious and gigantic organization is unfathomable to contemplate.

Yes, some of these Muslim religious leaders are spreading the idea of terror against the West and others here at home and especially overseas and yes they are taking advantage of the fact that they can say and do such things because they are safe from any reprisals of any kind. They are safe because the people of the Muslim faith accept the fact that even the worst Muslim is better than any other person anywhere that is not of their faith. They think much the same way as all other religious followers of all other religions think.

The Christian and the Jew and the Hindu and the other religious followers will protect their own to the death if necessary even if the ones they are willing to protect are in fact insane or just crazy with hatred.

Punishment of the people that are not involved with any terrorist act other than that they are familial related or socially or religiously or politically related will not accomplish anything other than cause those people undue and unjust hardship. Terrorist, especially, terrorist that do not care about murdering and maiming their own people will not stop terrorizing anybody just because there are fines levied or because hardship is placed on their own people and their own families and friends.

I think that if we find a terrorist that will not desist in causing harm and destruction to themselves and to others that that person must be killed off, immediately. I think that to think that somehow, someway we can rehabilitate these fanatics is foolish and in the end these fanatics will cause harm and destruction someday somewhere and somebody will suffer because of our own stupidity and because of our lack of understanding the insanity of hatred and ignorance.

But I cannot agree with punishing people when it cannot be proven that those people have had anything to do with any terrorist act against humanity anywhere at anytime.

This kind of punishment makes me think back to the time when if a family member did a crime the whole family was punished for it. It made no sense then and it makes no sense now. How would you like to be punished financially or otherwise because your brother or your sister killed somebody somewhere? I don’t know about you but I hope no one ever gets the power to put my life in jeopardy because of my relationship (religious, political, familial, corporate, racial, et cetera) to that fanatic or to that murderer when I didn’t have anything to do with the crime at all.
